'The Town' scribe tapped for 'Top Gun 2' -... →
Via Variety: Peter Craig has been hired to write the sequel. Late last year X-Men First Class Ahsley Miller and Zack Stentz were hired, but nothing was ever written.
“Top Gun 2,” which will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Films and David Ellison’s Skydance Prods.

'Five-Year Engagement' to open Tribeca -... →
Via Variety: The Tribeca Film Festival will kick off this year with Universal Pictures’ “The Five-Year Engagement,” the latest comedy from Nicholas Stoller and Jason Segel.
It will screen at the festival on 17 April followed by a wider release on 27 April.
It looks like a fun film to add to my watch list for 2012.
